I love old photos.

I love their smell, imperfections and damage.

It is often the only testimony of human fate, the fate of our loved ones.

With help of professional tools such as Photoshop CC or Luminar AI, I can bring them back to their former glory, give them a second life.

I will fill in the gaps, reconstruct the missing elements (including face), remove unwanted paper texture, remove “silver-mirroring”, reduce creases and any damage, I will separate the silhouettes, replace the background, improve the tone, sharpness, light and shadow, and color as desired. I can create a joint portrait photo from two separate photos. I will prepare the work for printing and include instructions for the photo studio.

In order to repair the photo, I only need a scan of the photo (or high quality photo) from you in resolution from 300 dpi (minimum) to 2400 dpi. You can create such scan yourself or in a nearby photo shop. I might need a support photo to reproduce the details of the person's face from the damaged photo as accurately as possible. Sometimes I also try to reconstruct a photo from a photo of it, because I am aware of the path that a photo has to go through, and these are often photos sent by phone between relatives.

You will be informed about possibility of improvement or the lack of it before ordering the repair.
